jumpin' jack Nov 01, 2008 I think my granddaughter started to jump before she did anything else. She just loves this. It is also light weight enough to move around, but sturdy enough for her to jump.
Kind of girly Oct 28, 2008 This item lost one star because of lack of instruction when putting together. If you take some time and think about it though you can get it togehter. The instructions need to be rewritten though. I did buy this for my son and it's pretty girly but he likes it and the colors are unisex. It's just flower themed. I would have bought the circus one for him instead if it had been in stock. Otherwise it seems pretty sturdy and once put together moves well.
exactly as I expected Oct 03, 2008 Just what I wanted. My 5 month old son loves it. He is alternately fascinated by each of the different toys. There is also some small tray areas to just set his own toys for more variety. The one thing I'd liked to have know before I bought it was that there is a height limit of 30 inches. For most that's not an issue, however my son is very tall and at 5 months is already 27 inches tall. So he will probably outgrow it in height before he outgrows it developmentally (can walk). So keep this in mind if your child is in the 90th+ percentile for height. Otherwise, love it and have found it a great place for him to play while I'm making dinner or other kinds of things where he can't just play on the floor next to me.
Lifesaver! Sep 17, 2008 My daughter's exersaucer was my life saver. Once she turned about 4 mos old she would not lay down for anything. I was able to prop her up in the exersaucer with a blanket and she had a great time. As she got bigger, I moved the height up, and she kept playing! Of course, her attention span meant it never lasted more than a little while, but it was at least enough to jump in the shower every now and then! However, I would reccommend looking at local resale shops or other places for used ones. They are very expensive new (even the cheap ones!) and I've found that my resale shop always has a ton of them for a good price. Plus, it's already assembled for you!

a so so purchase Aug 26, 2008 I bought this stuff about a month ago. It has'nt been used frequently. My son is not very interested in it but if you put him in he'll stay there for about 20 min. So I guess it's still useful if you really need a short break from your baby. Now he's 6 months old and about 27.5 inch. I feel the design of the seat is not very good. When I put my baby in, he tends to lean forward a lot. I guess it is partly because my baby can not sit very well. Maybe when he grows a bit older and can sit and stand well, he will fully enjoy the Exersaucer.
